After graduating with an M.B.A concentration in Accounting, Gerome spent nearly a year abroad living in Beijing. While their Gerome was a consulting analyst intern for a telecommunications, media, and technology consultancy: Focusing on the Chinese, Indian, and southeast Asian nations. While at the consultancy Gerome covered the Chinese and Vietnamese telecommunications sectors: Two engagements in particular focused on due diligence work for a client’s strategic investment in the Vietnamese mobile communications sector and the Chinese property and casualty insurance sector. Nearing the end of the internship Gerome continued to study Mandarin at an intensive language program to further develop and utilize his foreign language skill. Before his return back to Honolulu, Gerome traveled extensively to Hong Kong, developing an affinity for this vibrant city, and through out mainland China because of his fascination with witnessing the countries economic development.

Upon returning back to Honolulu, Gerome has successfully completed the US CPA exam and is very eager to add value to AKAMAI Capital and sharpen his financial skills as its Telecom Sector PM. Aside from his career aspirations Gerome likes to travel, read legal thrillers, and spend time with his loved ones.
