I am studying Finance at the Shidler College of Business. Originally from Arizona, I came to Hawaii 9 years ago on assignment from the Navy. After I got out of the Navy, I stayed in Hawaii and worked for a temporary staffing agency. I was exposed to many different businesses and worked in many different positions, this experience made me realize that I needed to go to school and study business. While attending Kapiolani Community College I took basic accounting courses and realized that I my passion is financial analysis. I did a few accounting internships and realized that accounting is boring because entry level accountants only look at the past and most of the time they do not make business decisions. My experience brought me to Finance and I am completely obsessed with it, I want to learn everything that I can about Finance.
